Set Free Christian Ministries was established in 1980 by the Reverend Edwin G. Lawfer bringing hope through the preaching of God's Word to the lost and the discipleship of believers through the study of God's Word.

Set Free Christian Ministries is an evangelical Christian ministry whose focus is the spreading of the Word of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ. "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."  1 Corinthians 3:11  Jesus said, "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  John 8:31,32.  

Set Free Christian Ministries' focus is on the importance of preaching, studying and putting into practice the words of Christ.  It is His words that have the power to give life.  "It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."  John 6:63
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.."   1 Corinthians 1:18.  God the Father Himself said of His Son, Jesus Christ, "And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my Beloved Son: hear Him!"  Luke 9:35.  

The words of Christ have the power to heal us, "He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."(Psalm 107:20), to cleanse us, " Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." (John 15:3), to sanctify us, "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." (John 17:17), to give us faith, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17), to give us joy, "These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." (John 15:11), to give us peace, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33), to cause us to grow spiritually, "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby" (1 Peter 2:2), "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." (2 Peter 3:18), and so much more.  Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..."

Here at Set Free Christian Ministries, we are committed to getting the Words of Christ to a lost world.  Our booklets, CDs, and DVDs all focus on the words of Christ as found in the gospels, and they have been distributed world-wide for over thirty years.
